NSUM has a long development history. From 1984 when Chixiao filled the domestic technological gap in sandwich panels and served the infrastructure wave of the Special Economic Zones,to 2003, when HBM advanced the internationalization of ship interior installations; from 1994,when CSE was established to overcome the bottleneck in South China Sea oil development, to 2006, when the acquisition of Shanghai Matsuo propelled Chinese steel structures to the international high-end market; from 2003, when the "Yahgee Integrated Housing" was introduced as a temporary construction product for China's large-scale infrastructure projects, to 2011, when Yahgee promoted the localization of modular buildings, NSUM has always adhered to its original mission of "Delivering CNDI's strengths to meet the nation's needs." Over the years, it has progressively built a diversified industrial portfolio spanning offshore facilities, ship outfitting, high-end steel structures, modular buildings, and green building materials such as metal sandwich panels, in line with China's strategy of becoming a manufacturing powerhouse and the development trend of the industry.
