On the morning of May 25, 2008, around 10:00 AM, General Secretary Hu Jintao, accompanied by Hebei Provincial Party Secretary Zhang Yunchen, Acting Governor Hu Chunhua, and other officials, visited Yahgee in Langfang.
Though the earthquake showed no mercy, humanity did. In the aftermath of the Sichuan Earthquake, Yahgee actively participated in the disaster relief and post-earthquake reconstruction efforts. During the Wenchuan Earthquake, Yahgee Integrated Housing, a subsidiary of Nanshan Holding, provided about 15% of the nationwide emergency housing assistance task. In total, the company supplied over 80,000 units, covering nearly 1.7 million square meters of temporary housing for the affected areas, making it the company with the largest number of relocation houses delivered. The then-President Hu Jintao visited Yahgee's workshop in Langfang to inspect the production of the temporary housing units.

He personally assessed the disaster situation, expressed condolences to the victims, and conveyed the deep feelings of the Chinese government and people towards the Japanese people. He also reaffirmed China's support for Japan's post-disaster reconstruction efforts and visited some Chinese employees involved in the recovery efforts in Japan.

He inquired in detail about the employees' work and living conditions, as well as the progress of the Yahgee housing projects. Upon seeing photos of the completed sample houses, Premier Wen smiled and said, "Well done!"
