SHENZHEN, December 22 – Mr. Zhao Jianchao, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Deputy General Manager of China Nanshan (CNDI), met with a delegation led by Mr. Qiu Lujin, Party Working Committee Member and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone (Weihai ETDZ), and Mr. Zheng Hehui, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Group (CMI), at the CNDI Headquarters Building in Chiwan, Shenzhen, on the morning of December 22. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening industrial synergy and expanding cooperation.Also attending the meeting were Mr. Zhou Jian, General Manager, and Mr. Chen Zhongnian, Deputy General Manager, of NSUM.

Mr. Zhao Jianchao extended a warm welcome to Mr. Qiu Lujin, Mr. Zheng Hehui, and the delegation. He introduced CNDI's main businesses and development plans, stating that CNDI will align with China Merchants Group's (CMG) strategic layout for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. This involves strengthening industrial synergy with other units within the CMG ecosystem and actively expanding business chains in offshore engineering equipment, marine outfitting, offshore wind power, and new energy PV storage. He expressed anticipation for practical cooperation with Weihai ETDZ in related fields to jointly build an industrial ecosystem.

Mr. Qiu Lujin introduced the economic and social development of Weihai ETDZ. He stated that the zone is accelerating the construction of an offshore engineering industrial park and striving to create an excellent industrial ecosystem. He expressed hope for in-depth cooperation with CNDI in areas such as offshore engineering parks, offshore engineering equipment, marine outfitting, and new energy, to jointly promote industrial upgrading and regional development.

Mr. Zheng Hehui stated during the talks that Weihai boasts a favorable business environment. He noted that the businesses of CMI and CNDI are highly aligned in areas like marine outfitting and offshore engineering equipment, presenting broad cooperation space and significant potential. He expressed hope for strengthened coordination with Weihai ETDZ in the future to jointly advance industrial cooperation and project implementation, achieving mutually beneficial development for all parties.

Prior to the talks, Mr. Qiu Lujin, Mr. Zheng Hehui, and the delegation visited the CNDI Exhibition Hall, gaining a detailed understanding of the company's historical evolution and industrial layout.

Responsible persons from relevant units of Weihai ETDZ and CMI, as well as heads of relevant departments and units of CNDI, attended the meeting.
