SHENZHEN, December 24 – The finals of the China Nanshan Development (Group) Co., Ltd.(CNDI) Fifth Innovation Competition concluded successfully on the afternoon of December 24. Under the theme "Innovation-Driven, Intelligence Leading the Future," the event showcased a total of 10 outstanding innovative achievements from across the company's various business segments. Mr. Shu Qian, General Manager of CNDI, attended the event and delivered remarks. Also present were Mr. Zhao Jianchao, Deputy General Manager, and Mr. Chen Hao, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.

Mr. Shu Qian noted that this competition is a concrete action to implement China Merchants Group's (CMG) strategy of shaping the "Two Curves" and comprehensively advancing the "Third Pioneering Endeavor." He stated that it reflects the strong sense of mission among employees to integrate innovation into daily work and drive value creation, serving as a vivid microcosm of CNDI's thriving innovation culture. He emphasized that innovation is a persistent long-term endeavor. CNDI will continue to improve its "full lifecycle" innovation management mechanism, actively integrate into CMG's sci-tech innovation synergy system, increase R&D investment, refine incentive mechanisms, and accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements from the laboratory to the production line, and from internal application to market revenue generation.

Since its launch, the competition received an enthusiastic response from various units, with a total of 30 projects submitted. After rigorous preliminary and semi-final rounds, 10 projects from five secondary companies—Nanshan Holding, Nanshan United Intelligent Manufacturing(NSUM), New Energy Holding, Bao Wan Logistics, and Chiwan Commercial—stood out in the finals. These projects spanned multiple fields including green energy, intelligent manufacturing, digital technology, and marine technology.

After intense competition, Nanshan Holding won the first prize for its project "IoT Platform Soft Gateway and AI Technology Application." Two innovative projects from China Nuclear (Nanjing) Energy Development and Chiwan Sembawang Engineering(CSE) received the second prize. Projects from CSE, Bao Wan Logistics, and Bay Power Industry were awarded the third prize. Four innovative achieve ments from CSE, Huanan Building Materials(HBM), and Chiwan Communications received the Excellence Award. The detailed award results are as follows:
