On the afternoon of September 28, China Nanshan United Intelligent Manufacturing (NSUM) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tongzhou Bay Jianghai Linkage Development Demonstration Zone in Jiangsu Province. Zhao Jianchao, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of China Nanshan Development (Group) Co., Ltd., and Deng Chengjie, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone, attended the signing ceremony.

Prior to the signing ceremony, both parties held in-depth discussions regarding jointly advancing the planning, construction, and operation of the Tongzhou Bay Sembawang Large Offshore Equipment Manufacturing Base project. They reached preliminary consensus on the cooperation objectives, cooperation models, and task allocation.
Zhao Jianchao stated that the signing of the cooperation agreement between NSUM and the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone is a significant measure implementing the spirit of the strategic cooperation agreement between China Merchants Group and the Nantong Municipal Government. It represents an important practice where both sides, based on the broader context of regional development, respond to the strategic deployment for the marine economy. He expressed hope that both parties would use the implementation of this agreement as a lever to actively promote and execute mutually beneficial plans, jointly contributing actively to the prosperous development of the regional marine economy.
Deng Chengjie pointed out that this cooperation deeply aligns with the strategic development plan of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone. The Demonstration Zone will fully foster a first-class business environment and provide solid guarantees for the efficient progress of the project. Through the joint efforts of both sides, he envisioned creating a benchmark project for government-enterprise cooperation, injecting more new momentum into the development of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone.
Responsible persons from relevant units of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone, Nantong Port (Group) Co., Ltd., and China Nanshan Development (Group) Co., Ltd., attended the event.
